वि· सं· २०१६ सालमा प्राइमरी स्कुलका रुपमा विधिवत स्थापित यस श्री जनप्रिय मा· वि· २०३२ सालमा नि·मा·वि·, २०४४ सालमा मा·वि· हुदै २०५३ सालमा जिल्लामै पहिलो उच्च मा· वि· (साविकको तह) का रुपमा स्थापित विद्यालय हो । स्थापनाकाल देखि नै शैक्षिक, खेलकुद, साँस्कृतिक तथा थप अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापमा उत्कृष्ट नतिजा निकाल्दै आइरहेको यस विद्यालयलाइ नेपाल सरकार, शिक्षा विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि मन्त्रालयले २०७६ सालमा नमुना विद्यालयको रुपमा विकास गर्ने गरी छनौट गरी विभिन्न क्रियाकलाप सञ्चालित छन् । सूचना प्रविधिको आजको युगमा नयाँ पुस्तालाइ प्रविधिमा सशक्त बनाउन र शिक्षामा प्रविधिको प्रयोग बढाउन शिक्षक स्वयं प्रविधिको जानकार हुनु अत्यावस्यक छ । शिक्षामा प्रविधिको प्रयोगको आधार भूमि कक्षाकोठा हो । यसकालागि विद्यालय प्रविधिमैत्री हुनु जरुरी हुन्छ भन्ने मान्यतालाइ मनन् गर्दै विद्यालयलाइ प्रविधिमैत्री बनाउन भरमग्दुर प्रयास गरिएको छ । एक महिने आधारभूत कम्प्युटर तालिम पछि प्रत्येक शिक्षककालागि ल्यापटप, कार्यालयका प्रत्येक कोठामा वाइफाइ सुविधा, प्रत्येक कक्षाकोठामा स्मार्ट बोर्ड, प्रत्येक कक्षामा OLE कनेक्शन, थप कक्षा र कार्यक्रमका लागि प्रोजेक्टर, कक्षा ७ देखि माथिका कक्षामा वाइफाइ कनेक्टीभिटी, विद्यालय परिसर र महत्वपूर्ण फाँटहरुमा सिसिटिभि क्यामराद्वारा निगरानी, २४ सै घण्टा विद्युत सुविधाको प्रबन्ध गरिसकिएको छ । विद्यालयका गतिविधिलाइ पारदर्शी बनाउन र सकोकारवालाहरुको सहज पहुँच स्थापित गर्न विद्यालयको इमेल र फसबुक पेज धेरै समयदेखि प्रयोगमा ल्याइ सकिएको छ । त्यलाइ अझ विस्तार गर्न हालसालै मात्र विद्यालयको आफ्नै वेभसाइट डिजाइन गरी प्रयोगमा ल्याइएको छ । वेभसाइटलाइ सरोकारवालामैत्री बनाउन गर्नुपर्ने थप प्रयासका वारे सकारात्मक सुझावको अपेक्षा सहित यी सबै कार्यलाइ साकार रुप दिन सहयोग गर्नुहुने सम्पूर्ण महानुभावहरु, सरकारी तथा गैर सरकारी निकायहरु, गाउँपालिका सबैलाइ धेरै धेरै धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छुँ । विद्यालयको आफ्नै वेभसाइट बनाइ प्रयोमा ल्याउने लामो समय देखिको हाम्रो चाहनालाइ साकार पार्न सहयोग गर्नुहुने SASA Infosys, काठमाण्डौं र त्यसका Co- Founder सागर गौतमजी प्रति आभारी छुँ । धन्यवाद ।
Established as a primary school in 2016 B.S.Shree Janapriya Secondary School was upgraded to a lower secondary school in 2032 B.S.a secondary school in 2044 B.S.and became the district’s first higher secondary school in 2053 B.S. (under the former system). Since its inception, the school has consistently produced excellent results in academics, sports, cultural, and extracurricular activities. In 2076 B.S. the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, selected it to be developed as a Model School, under which various activities are being implemented.
In today’s era of information technology, it is essential for teachers themselves to be technologically competent in order to empower the new generation and enhance the use of technology in education. The classroom is the foundation for integrating technology into teaching. With this belief, the school has made extensive efforts to become technology-friendly. After a one-month basic computer training program, each teacher was provided with a laptop. Every office room has Wi-Fi facilities, each classroom is equipped with smart boards, OLE connections, projectors for additional classes and programs, Wi-Fi connectivity from Grade 7 onwards, CCTV surveillance in the school premises and key areas, and 24-hour electricity supply.
To ensure transparency and easy access for stakeholders, the school has long been using email and a Facebook page. Recently, the school’s own website has been designed and launched, with the expectation of further suggestions to make it more stakeholder-friendly. The school expresses sincere gratitude to all individuals, government and non-government bodies, and the municipality for their support in realizing these initiatives. Special thanks go to SASA Infosys, Kathmandu and its Co-Founder Mr. Sagar Gautam for their assistance in fulfilling the long-standing desire to establish and operate the school’s own website.
